RAVE: Wing Dome

I ordered 120 wings for the Husky game on Thursday and they, inadvertently, forgot to give me one of the bags. When I got home, the order seemed light but I wasn't going to count wings so we just ate up. An hour later, Wing Dome calls to say that they forgot my wings and they will deliver all new ones to me along with anything else I wanted! I didn't really want anything else but, sure enough, 20 minutes later, they showed up at my door with nice, warm wings and a 6-pack of Pabst for our trouble. My guests were thrilled for some post-halftime wings and we were very impressed that they would take the time on such a busy night. They were never in danger of losing our business but now they have endeared themselves to our hearts! Thank you Wing Dome!

  2. They're pretty good folks there. They have one or two underachieving waiters, but I do love the Wings, and any time one of those waiters has made me wait too long for something, he has been good enough to not charge me.

They are really good folks. We ordered 2 pulled pork and one brisket sandwich. The food was poor. The meat was just a visual effect. The sauce was so overwhelming as to drown out any sense of meat. They meat was sparse. You get a ton of cheap carbs, french fires, bun, lotta not subtle sauce... they asked if we liked the food...well, no we didn't, all three of us. Yes they adjusted the bill...but I overtipped...on purpose .. just fix the menu. I love my BBQ, but his was like drinking Bullseye from a bottle. I am going back though to try the wings... maybe a sandwhich menu is not their forte'

  5. Is there a more disappointing restaurant in the Junction? The wings are poorly cooked and small. The sauces are underwhelming. The prices are sky high for what is served and the service is lacking. Sure, there are other crummy restaurants in the Junction, but none of them ever had the promise (Wings!) that WD had. Alas.

  6. We thoroughly enjoyed our wings last Monday night. I always ask for my wings to be extra wet because sometimes I don't feel that they add enough sauce to them. And for those who may not know, on Monday nights, wings are 59 cents! You can't beat that.
