West Seattle AutoWorks is a great addition to the neighborhood!

Yesterday, I had the unfortunate luck of having a brake-line go. I had called a friend to see how I could confirm my suspicions of the line ... once confirmed he started to explain what would need to be done and all I started to hear was "cha ching"

While waiting for a tow I was trying to figure where I would take my car ... then I remembered my new neighbor.

Chris and Todd are super nice and friendly. Todd pulled an illustration to explain his thoughts on my suspicions w/o talking down to me - just really trying to make sure I understood, which I love and respect from anyone I deal with. Chris walked next door to where my car was, took a look, reconfirmed, and then drove it to their shop for me (I was not comfortable w/ doing that).

They got me a very reasonable bid and had me ready to go this morning! I love quick turn around, and reasonable pricing. As someone else had noted in comments (on their opening week), they do not do or charge for a bunch of stuff you don't need! So all the stuff my friend was talking about wasn't even mentioned.

I'm also glad they’re almost next door to me! It will make it much easier for me to keep up with the route maintenance I seldom have time for.

I would highly recommend you give them a try!

I had tried three of the high profile auto repair businesses in WS and was disappointed. I'd rather not go off on them but rather rave about my recent experience at the WS Auto Works. Their estimate was significantly lower than another estimate. They kept me well informed as they made progress. When something unanticipated came up my final bill only showed the additional part. In other words they ate the labor sticking with the estimate. My search for a mechanic is over. I can't speak highly enough about the experience and would give them the highest recommendation.

Chris has been working on my family's cars for years and I cannot speak more highly of his work and his professional ethics. I really hope he succeeds in his new endeavor.

  4. I got 5 star service @ West Seattle Autoworks! When my battery died I was advised to take my car to WS Autoworks where I'd meet my new best friend, Chris and that person was right. Chris couldn't have been nicer. As soon as I got there he tested my battery, took the time to explain why it needed to be replaced and then proceeded to do so, all at a cost I could afford. How can you not appreciate such great and quick service? Everyone needs a great auto mechanic and now I have one @ West Seattle Autoworks... YEA!
