   Here is a huge rave to Clarence and Anne at Ventana Construction. Many construction companies have been vultures, showing up at Teri Ensley of Furry Faces door, after here house fire (see WSB coverage 01/09 & 10) handing her flyers and ads for rebuilding her house. While these companies were only there to get her business, Anne had reached out to Teri to see what they could do to help. This afternoon Ventana was there securing her house and fixing her broken doors ...just because that's who they are.
   Thanks Anne, Clarence and the entire Ventana Staff!!

   I SECOND THAT. We had our downstairs remodeled last year. When my baby came a month early, not only did they rush to get it done (it turned out amazing, by the way), but they brought me dinner. What other construction company would do that! Thanks, Anne and Clarence!

   Although I've never had a need for their services, I've long been impressed by Ventana.

   I think it's great that they regularly offer free workshops, plus I've gotten an overall good vibe from them, that they are in business to put forth a good quality service, and that they don't put profits above that.

   I am in no way an expert on Economics, but it sure seems logical that that is a good business "model" to follow. Put out a good, quality product and/or service, and the profits will follow, from establishing a loyal clientele.

   Plus, I like how they've made that 100+ year old house, with the cool wrap-around porch, into their office!

   And mellow, humble folks, too - though I would have been happy to include this in coverage, they did not tell us they'd done it - I'm finding out here.

   Another happy client here. Ventana built out our basement three and half years ago and it is still in top quality shape, so shoddy construction that's revealed over time. We also had the work done while I was on maternity leave with a new born and the workers were very respectful about letting me know when there would be loud noise and working with nap itmes.
