  1. I just had the best massage EVER at the Body Bar! I didn't realize how bad the previous ones I had were until I had this one from Therese.

It's defiantly worth a try! It's not just about pampering yourself..it's about overall wellness.

The overall vibe in there is calm and relaxing. And smells wonderful. They just added Aromatherapist Carol Walter and I can't wait to smell what she comes up with for my signature scent.

I know what I am getting my friends and family for their next gift. A certificate to the Body Bar!

It's right on California by the Hotwire Cafe and a block down from Clementine.

Oh my. I've been in desperate need of a massage for the last couple months now, but haven't yet given in. This rave may have pushed me over the edge, as I've heard good things about TBB already.

  4. yep..I haven't really thought about it either. I have been working on myself lately with workouts and sauna at the gym and realized today that I need to add massages to my routine for an overall wellness. And not only the massage but the ambiance just puts ya in a good mood too. The place is decorated so nice and the music and smells are so soothing. You can't get this kind of experience from the masseuse at the gym.

Just wanted to remind people about things they don't realize that are right here in West Seattle that are truly awesome and worth checking out.

  5. a friendly reminder...we don't use the term "masseuse" any more...the state of WA calls us Licenced Massage Practitioners officially, and we sometimes use the term therapist instead of practitioner. I guess the thinking was/is that "masseuse" and "masseur" has older connotations towards the more seedy side of the massage (or pseudo massage) business - if ya get my drift.

So glad you're all thinking about massage in your lives..we all need it, for sure.
