RAVE: Square One Books

    You may be able to save a couple of bucks by going to a Big Bookstore, but money can't buy the kind of service you get at Square One. Gretchen has scored for me on gifts for both grandchildren and a 95-year old father. You should have seen the look on the face of my 14-year old grandson when he saw the Sherman Alexie book she helped me pick out for his birthday. You'd have thought Christmas had arrived early! Just tell them an age and an interest, and presto! If they don't have it in stock, it'll be there for you in 1-3 days. A great LOCAL business. Please support it and leave the Big Bookstores to other folk.

    That's good to know. My other half was there last week with his sister and niece and nephew and couldn't say enough nice things about the place.

    LOVE Square One. They are always so kind and helpful when I am there, and have really helped me with selections.

    Square One is Great! I went there several years ago after a suicide in the family. She ended up "consoling" me. I started crying when I said "suicide".....Great local business with a heart :)
