Safety and Supply Co responded to a plea from me for any help they could provide to our friends at Nickelsville. They just donated 16 pairs of brand new industrial rubber boots in varying sizes. They have amazing products and their family style service is awesome. Thanks Safety and Supply!

I looked at their website. Would love to buy from them. Are the wholesale only?

adelle.. good karma two ways.... one to SSC... and one to U for asking. They are a great company, got many a reflective vest, fire retardant safety overalls, and safety related stuff. They do have great service.

I have bought ear plugs from them before by just walking in

Aw, thanks kootchman...the only reason I mentioned I called is that it might inspire others to 'make that call' and ask...one never knows, but it can't hurt :)
garden-nymph: they are open to the public! I used them for the proper disposal bags for when I took the asbestos popcorn off my ceilings! Kudos to Sue and Loreen (sp?) and the whole crew. Just as nice as can be !!

If anyone goes to buy from them, please mention their generosity to Nickelsville. What goes around comes around for them. Just lovely people!

I like Safety & Supply and have bought stuff from them several times over the years. They are indeed open to the public and have a good selection of work boots, Carhart clothing and many things you think of when you think heavy duty work clothes and general safety stuff.

Now WSB'ers know where to buy their heavy work clothes, and safety related items.
Thanks, adelle, for contacting them in the first place, and thanks to Safety Supply for responding with a generous donation!
I think one of the nice things about getting local companies involved, is I'd be willing to bet that some of their employees will step up on their own to donate as well! :-)
