   The coffee is great, and if you're in the mood for a "fluffy" drink they make fancy flavored whipped cream and draw hearts into the foam. awwww!

   I have a bag of their beans that I grind in the morning and it's some of the best stuff I've ever bought.

   The bagels. Oh geez, the bagels are SO GOOD. When you spring for the "eggel", it's almost too good.

   The baristas are also great. I appreciate that a couple of them really pride themselves on knowing customer drinks and names. Yeah, sometimes they're cranky but aren't we all?

   And the RANT? Oh-so-expensive. I need a support group or something for this addiction.

   Don't get me started....... VERY BAD experience at this place. There is a problem here. I am a FORMER daily customer, and I know I am not the only one.

   I will never set foot in that store again, and my very large West Seattle family likewise.

   I've been disappointed in the WS Java Bean as well. I was a daily customer of the shop in Ballard. I was happy to find Java Bean here and went in a couple times.

   The staff consistently seemed both annoyed and bored, unable to catch eye contact, and the drinks were nothing special.

   The owner was on site at the Ballard shop and did a lot to make the place inviting, fun and comfortable. WS shop doesn't have it. Best of luck.

   I would sit in a 10 car wait at a SBUX in hell before stepping foot in Jave Bean - West Seattle or Ballard. You must notice the constant staff changes in West Seattle....hmmm I wonder why???

   MissK- I used to work there, and can't concur more. They did have yummy coffee, but if Tony is still running the place- I am running right by!

    Like I said I would wait in an endless drive-thru in hell before darkening that doorstep again. Too bad its a funky little place just terrible terrible ownership.
