Just wanted to give a big shout out to Ken "The Computer Guy".
My computer died a couple of weeks ago, (power supply went out on it) and I finally got around to getting in touch with Ken yesterday.
Around 18 hours later, I was back online!
Ken donates his time, and in some cases parts (if the needed parts are available from his stock of donated computers/parts), to those on a limited income such as myself (unemployed). In my case, he didn't have a used power supply "in stock" that would fit my computer, but had a source readily available for a new one, which he only asked for reimbursement of what he paid for the part. If I would have taken my machine to a shop, it certainly would have cost a lot more, and I suppose may have sat there for a few days or so.
He also accepts used computers, parts and such that might be needed for this "program".
So, huge thanks to Ken, and if any folks out there have any old computers, please get ahold of Ken, and see if it
is something he could use, and consider donating it to him.
