   I'd just like to put it out there that Ian, our UPS driver, would be a far better choice for an Old Spice face-off than Fabio is. Ick.

   I'm sure Ian might be a nice guy. But I have to say that no one is cooler than our UPS driver (Arbor Heights resident and WSB reader) Richard, who shleps a never-ending stream of massive parcels to my front door on almost a daily basis.

   I vote for my UPS guy for the new Old Spice guy. Anyone else have Larry? He's tall with dark hair and great legs! His route in WS proper, anyone else have him?

   I just wish my UPS guy would show up... (desperately waiting for a second-day package that's been "out for delivery" since 2:30 a.m.). We've moved to a new neighborhood, so I'm not yet familiar with our UPS guy/lady. :-)

   Geez. Now I feel bad for not knowing the name of my UPS driver, especially because I see him almost every day! He's super tall, so we'll go with may Larry.

   On another note, Fabio is repulsive!

   We got to know Fabio a bit when we were all members of an Athletic Club in downtown Seattle many years ago. He lived in this area for a while. Whatever you think of Fabio's looks, he is actually a really nice guy - kind and funny.

    I'm getting an idea for a new reality series ... 'Really Improper Housewives of West Seattle ... and the Good-Smelling Men Who Deliver Their Packages'. Hmmm, maybe I could be the showrunner.

    I remember when I was a kid how my mom and some of the other moms in the neighborhood would talk on the phone about how good looking our local UPS driver was, with his dark features and chiseled face. One day after a delivery, my little brother Jeff yelled out "My mother thinks you're gorgeous." My mom's face instantly reddened like the color of one of the steamed lobsters we always had at neighborhood clam bakes. Mr. UPS guy just smiled and kept bringing those packages.
