Rave for Seattle Fish Company, West Seattle Nursery & Lien Animal Clinic

  1. Just wanted to give a big shout out of appreciation to Seattle Fish Company, West Seattle Nursery & Lien Animal Clinic. I have a kitty whose sarcoma has recently returned. Long story short, after much research and consultation with the caring professionals at Lien, have decided not to put the cat through any more procedures. The goal now is to keep him purring and happy as long as is possible. That's where Seattle Fish Company and West Seattle Nursery came in. They went out out of their way to a) locate sardines I can fix whenever kitty seems to need a little extra treat and even b) brought cat nip from their own home, in place of the dry 'dust' type widely available by the container, now that the plants are no longer alive out on my carport.

The cat so far is lapping up all the extra attention (and fish). When he is no longer comfortable, then Lien has vets who make house calls, which means so much to know my cat will not have to be stuffed back into his carrier for one last terrified trip. I will be forever grateful to all of you!!

I second the Lien rave. They have made housecalls twice for me in the past 15 years - all done with care and sincerity and my kitties were kept totally comfortable. Such a great service to offer and much appreciated by my kitties and I.

  3. Yes, Lien! I am getting teary right now remembering the poignant day when the wonderful Dr. Kraabel put my beloved kitty down as she lay in my lap in her own house. The assistant too, she was so compassionate. They have my business for life.
    .
Best to you and your kitty.

  4. CDG,

If I come back as a cat someday, I would wish for a kitty-parent like you. You are the rockstar of furryparents.

Lien is the best. The docs and all staff at the clinic are genuinely there for our furry ones. I trust them completely.

Enjoy your boy each and every day as you clearly are(!). Squeeze him and feed him an extra fishie from our household if he has room left for a little more.

Our household sends good, furry juju to you and your guy,
    S
