It's impossible not to rave about the amazing student poets who spoke from their souls about feelings, beliefs, lives, society and global issues. I am in awe of the power of the spoken word that these young students expressed. The support these students gave each other created an atmosphere that was safe enough to artistically share personal and vulnerable experiences. The community that is fostered by the leadership of Principal Jeff Clark, and Assistant Principal Chanda Oatis, terrific teachers Rachel Evans, Breanna Whited, Nehaya Dashti, and support by Will King, Bruno Cross, George Yasutake, Makela Steward, Bobby Goan, City Year, Seattle Parks Department, Communities in Schools, Art Corps and so many more made for a spectacular event! My hat is off to everyone who was part of the evening. It was mesmerizing; thank you!

  2. Denny has an amazing team of staff who care so much about the development of kids! I appreciate them so much - it's been a great experience for my two kids and our family!
