Was kind of amazed to find out they deliver. Food was fabulous, and there was enough to share with the neighbors! 932.1945.

Yeah, I've been singing their praises since they opened. The only real downfall is their Pho. All else I've had there is good. And the price is right.
You gotta like street-food style Thai, though. Lucky I do.

I wish I was your neighbor. :-)
How is their red curry?

Good, but their Panang Curry is better...damn good green curry as well.

I've been to The Thaitan a few times and have not been impressed with the food. The service, however, has always been excellent.
Their Pho was awful and their Crispy Garlic Chicken a disappointment. I have never tried their curry - perhaps that will change my opinion of them.
Siam Pura (on Alki) is now my first choice for Thai delivery.

We used to get Thai Siam fairly regularly, but have found Thaitan to be quite tasty, quicker, and the friendliness you get everytime you go through the doors is hard to beat. We had some friends bring Bhudda Ruska over this weekend and it was alright. But I'll take Thaitan over them any day.

We have ordered delivery from them several times. A few items were not very good (crab fried rice, pad thai) but for the most part everything else has been good. I love that they deliver and customer service is always great!!

After reading this thread, we ordered tonight and it was quite good. Definitely adding to the regular Sunday night rotation. Thanks Thaitan!

I love the Thaitan for a couple reasons: good food, fast delivery (always faster than they say), and they are open on Sunday (the night we almost always want delivery)!

I love the Thaitan - not only do they have awesome Thai food, they have 'safe' options too for the less adventurous eater.

Rehashing this thread has helped me decide what I will eat for dinner tonight.

I thought it had decided it for me, too... but they don't seem to be answering the phone. Anyone have a different number for them than 206-932-1945?

Just checked my cell that is the same number I have.

Try 206-992-4082

Darn. Wish I'd seen the number before ordering from the pizza joint on Delridge. So much Greek food on the menu I thought it'd be a good choice. The dolmades were soaked in grease and nearly made both of us throw up, the spanakopita was marginal, but nearly burned, the tortellini was swimming in a pool of grease, and the lamb gyro was filled with big chunks of very fatty unseasoned meat. Baklava was edible, but looked and tasted like the ones you get at QFC.
It was $50 worth of major bummer. Leftovers went into the food waste bin, which NEVER happens in this home as the spouse will generally eat anything.
