I was a very nervous mom when I called almost every "Kids" salon in the Seattle area, but I just didn't want to pay $30-40 for a kids haircut! As soon as we walked into Budget Cuts I knew it was the right decision. I was told two ladies (Mary and Tram) were excellent at first haircuts, and it's true!

My son (Malick) is VERY difficult. He screamed when we asked him to sit down. With much fighting, biting (I still have a bruise!), and squirting (Mary gave him the spay bottle), the ultimate task was accomplished with flair. His older sister (Violet) was an excellent target for his spray bottle, and Mary was able to dodge toddler and kindergartner alike! Mary was in and out in a split second in between his flailing and attempting to grab the razor sharp scissors. Her hands didn't miss a beat while she laughed and kept going. He fought and screamed and by the end we were all covered in hair and water, but my son has never looked better!

Kudos for having a knowledgeable staff and patient ladies! Thanks Budget Cuts, you made a lifelong family memory. And you KNOW we'll be baaaaack!

  2. So I have to agree that I love budget cuts. They are very friendly, give great haircuts and the price is the best around that I know of. As well as Mary and Tram, JP is also a great artist there. However I have to ask, how old is your son?
