   For you idiots who find it necessary to drive 40mph and the spin out. not cool then the bus driver who thought it was ok to pass me on the right!!! was i going to slow for i guess so. then the person who HAD chains who STILL couldn't get up the hill getting me stuck. I had to go down a sidewalk to get out!!! YES A SIDEWALK!!. no one was hurt. nerves were rattle to say the least. she just left her car there. yikes

   I have to work i don't have a choice. I am sure everybody on the road needs to be somewhere. but if you don't have a clue on how to drive in the snow stay home. @$@&#%@&@*&

   hammerhead that is why I leave my car parked until it thaws. Just had moved my car yesterday and now its back in its cozy parking spot not to move for a while.

   Hammerhead - while I share your frustration with faster drivers, I've also been very frustrated by the folks going 10 mph on roads that have been sanded and salted. Perhaps if you have a line of traffic behind you, especially a Metro Bus, then you might want to pull to the right to allow others to pass. I'm not a speed demon, but I do know how to drive in the ice and snow and can handle going a safe speed without holding up traffic.

   To be honest, the folks going real slow today unnecessarily have been the real traffic hazard, IMO, because of all the braking that goes on behind them. If people would just cruise at a steady speed - maybe 20 -25 - in low or 2nd gear they would find that they could go very far without holding up traffic or having to stop at traffic lights. Has worked for me all day. If people are that scared that they can only go 10-15 on arterials that have been sanded and salted, then they should stay home.
