And yes, I commute to work on a bike every couple of weeks so I know how to behave. Seems like if it was dark out, the last thing I, as a biker, would do is dart in and out of lanes and pass between cars. Lower Spokane street under the start of the W. Seattle Bridge going East this morning. I understand the sidewalks are terrible here and all but if you're going to ride in the car lanes, you are expected to obey all traffic laws. Instead you weaved in and out of traffic, on the yellow line, and went through a light that had been red for a full 5 seconds like you were entitled too.
Sharrows or not, we are both to SHARE the road. Would be a shame next time if I had to open my door suddenly as you passed to dump out my water bottle or puke......just sayin'....Two can always play at this........................
