Why is it that coffee that goes cold is not the same as intentionally cold coffee? Is it just me? lol

just make some more and in the meantime, work on your law blog, Bob Loblaw.

Sun\'s coming out so the amount of time it takes for coffee to go cold should increase a few percent. I wish I knew why the allegedly insulated carafe that came with the coffeemaker doesn\'t hold heat for more than a couple hours.

same trouble here. We have the Braun \"insulated\" model. Nay!

ellenator and lowmanbeach: i totally feel your pain on the insulated caraffe/Braun experience. What gives? We have a wide time band in the morning between Mrs. Loblaw and myself, and our current coffee maker only stays on for three hours max. So we went with the Braun, hoping to keep it warmer longer, only to experience not only cold, but leaks and drips when you pour. 20 years of marriage, 10 different coffee makers, and I swear the best one we ever had was a Mr. Coffee. But she made me black out the name for fear of embarrassment.
.
Oh brother -- With wars everywhere, the economy in the toilet, mortgage crisis, planet melting, I\'m starting to feel pretty dumb complaining about coffee makers...Posted 3 years ago # -
My mom married my stepdad in 1976 and a Mr. Coffee was one of the gifts. She used it for years and years and it finally died in about 2000 or 2001!!!with daily use!!!so cheesey as they are\\were there was something good about them :)sorry I dont have a good caraffe referral. :(

My Braun is so sleek. It was love at first sight. It has a water filter and a great reusable filter, too. But man that cold coffee thing sucks! Funnily enough, my friend just gave me a 4 cup Mr. Coffee for the guest room. I\'m switching!

I love my coffee pot, and anyone who knows me well knows what happens in the am when I don\'t a good cup of coffee...pretty godzilla-like.
I don;t know the brand but I got a coffee maker that holds the coffee in a bucket area over a burner, and dispenses it like a fountain drink. It seems like the part that turns the coffee flow off when you remove the caraffe is always the first to go, and I always ended up with burned coffee all over the whole thing. So this new one totally eliminates that, and the coffee stays warm until I turn the machine off (or the auto off does after a while).

FullTilt- I have the same machine and LOVE IT! :)

so give already..
what machine?
we have two coffee makers.. even though we seldom make coffee... one makes two individual cups which are dispensed into thermal cups.. which go cold before the person drinking the first cup is done... and a second more expensive maker which grinds the beans and makes good coffee.. but it too doesn\'t stay hot so long.
AARGH!!!
i am about to bag them both for a 4 cup Mr Coffee... good size for guests.
