Boo.....Bah Humbug to whomever helped themselves to not only the cute candy-striped solar garden lights along my sidewalk....but even the plain ones! Really? I hope you washed the soil off before you wrapped them up and gave them to your mother for Christmas! Since this is not the first time they have been stolen....I will no longer put lights out to mark the path for myself and my neighbors. Hope this makes you incredibly happy.

We've had dozens of them stolen over time. I now only buy them when they're on sale for $1 at Target, and am determined to go with wired-in lights when we finish the yard.
FYI, it's my understanding that they're stolen for one of two things:
1. Drunk kids being sh-ts and throwing them around
2. Nerdy people experimenting like this: http://www.instructables.com/id/Solar-Powered-Robot-from-TRASH/Posted 5 months ago # -
Bah humbug, indeed! You certainly don't deserve that. So sorry your Christmas spirit was taken advantage of. :-(

Thanks Aim and Sarah...Luckily the 6 candycane ones were the most expensive...the rest were from the Dollar Tree (and worked really, really well). Still....nerds can go to Dollar Tree and buy their own! Ah well.....karma, karma, karma. ;-)
