We walked up there last night to have dinner. We arrived decided what we wanted. Went to order things and then we find out that they were out of the following:

The chicken pot pie, pie crusts.

    The honey bbq sauce

    Potato Wedges

Which were all blamed on a distributor, so they claim. like mentioned before we had walked up there and since it was raining decided to stay and eat there, while we were there the staff was immature, loud and rude with one of them being the Shift manager, who apparently had to use the fire extinguisher, if she got any on the fire or whatever it was it would be amazing as most of it looked to be on her pants.

Now I am not usually one to complain as I have been a Shift Manager at a Hardees but all of this was just enough to strike a nerve.

  2. We have never hade a good experience there ... we usually go once or twice a year before a big game to get some wings and always always regret it. They never seem to get the order right, it takes forever, and the staff seems indifferent. Granted, out experience is very limited, but it is totally the same from visit to visit! We're thrilled Wingdome is here :-)

  3. Yeah, but did you notice the flag outside the KFC?

    It is immaculate!

Based on this post and the fact that it took half of WS ranting and then PURCHASING a flag for them before they took their badly weather-worn one down, I'm going to say they foster a culture of "I don't care". Also, the very existence of the 'double down' further solidifies my theory.

I didn't notice it but it was also pretty dark and I was trying to get my son across the street, we ran into several cars who weren't paying attention. I will take a look at it though when I go to get my son from his Art class here in a few mins though.

We stopped going to this KFC a long time ago. Every time we went they were out of whatever chicken options we were looking for and we always had to settle for something else. One time in line I heard the car in front of me ordering a massive order of chicken which basically bought them out so when we got our turn they said it would be at least 25 minutes for ANY chicken. Wouldn't it be better to make the huge order customer wait and make all the small order customers happy in the mean time? That was my last trip there.

Unfortunately the KFC in White Center isn't much better....

  7. We've had the exact same experiences (out of chicken? really? yup, it'll be a 30 min wait.. ok, see you again next year)

Sometimes directing feedback to corporate gets better results as often local managers have a 'CYA First and Foremost' mentality if they even care at all.

  8. Gave up on KFC years and years and year ago. Long before the inhumanity to chickens took roost, I gave up on them. Their food is bad. Not just bad as in not very good, but bad bad.

I'm happy to say that I've NEVER set foot inside a KFC; even though I live a few blocks from the one on 35th. When I crave fried chicken it's well worth the trip over to Ezell's. Their sides are awesome too.

KFC is my guilty pleasure when i am sick..

About once a year I might get a craving for KFC and then it cures me for about another year.

The last time I was there (which was actually more like 2 years ago now) they were also out of almost everything it seemed like. It was in the last hour they were open.

They were actually really good about substituting what they could to make up for it.

I go to KFC once a year to remind myself how bloated I feel after eating fried chicken.

It's KFC! Lower your expecations and be happy you got out of there alive.

I'm like nighthawk and skeeter. Once a year. It tastes good until about halfway through my last piece of chicken and then I regret it for two days after.

Isn't that the truth. I am the same way; about once a year I get the urge to have KFC original recipe. I eat it, which then "cures" me for a whole nother year.
