Why is it on the hottest days of the year when we all have our windows open does an inconsiderate neighbor decide to build a fire in their fancy copper fire pit? I know the law says its ok, but the smoke is much more than from a chimney or a wood insert. If only they could roast the nearest Chupacabra and serve it with fava beans!

  2. Talk to your neighbor about it.

We must live in the same neighborhood because my husband and I frantically ran around the house looking for the source of the smoky smell. I have never had Chupacabra....tastes like chicken?

It is actually Illegal to "Smoke out your neighbors" get started here:

One of our neighbors had a chimney that expelled right next to our bedroom window - unfortunately, after speaking with them, we had to bring in the "law".

  6. Talk to them the same way you would want to be talked to. My neighbors did the same thing and we explained that their smoke was coming right into our house. And they moved their pit......

Mmmmmm, smoked meat... although my chupacabra likes the heat and would happily sit in the middle of the fire pit enjoying it like a sauna. She may even snack on the copper pit itself. Best of luck with the neighbors. In this heat, who really needs a fire?!
