Not trying to sound pretentious, etc .. but just to give people an idea of where the problem is .. I live in Admiral. Second time in a few months I found condoms in my parking strip... WTF? Guess I need to set up a hidden camera?
I could understand if I bought a place next to a strip joint or crack house, etc .. but I never thought I'd have to deal with this after paying 600k for a house and doing research on the area. And no I didn't just move here thanks.

The real problem is that there are not enough crack houses and strip joints in Seattle which results in people leaving condoms in otherwise nice neighborhoods. Had a crack house or strip joint been more conveniently located you may not have this problem.
When I lived in a nice part of Wallingford, I used to get the same. Admiral? I suspect teenagers...Wallingford, closer to 99, teenagers not so likely.
Either way. Gross!
Hi cruiser, 1 used, or it appeared to be anyway, white and torn.. I didn't look too closely. One was a lovely shade of purple! :) and it was unused.

As a parent in their 30's, this is not exactly what I had in mind for myself to see twice or for my preschool age children to see or ask about, etc. When I see this stuff I hear Cartman singing "in the ghetto."

WSrats that is too bad. Not sure who to stop it. If it is high school/ middle aged (too scary) kids then maybe just a sign that says you have cameras would do the trick. I am also so sorry to hear that you have had to explain this to your preschool age children. Good luck with everything.

Motion sensored flood lights....a wonderful addition to any yard - especially if you are having "issues"....a security camera with a flashing light (even if it's fake) is a nice bonus too!
Yeah cruiser, I was gonna ask if they sell "special motion" detectors .. Funny thing is, I live on a somewhat busy street so one would think people would not engage in sexual activity in the cold and on a busy street.

A peep show. And its not only condoms but the garbage that is thrown out into the curb. I live near the private high school on genesee and at least once a week I have to pick up trash.
Truth is, I see used condoms all over the place. Seems to me like the little darlings are just tossing them out their car windows...along with their beer cans and McDonalds leftovers. So Gross...but there is a small part of me that recognizes they are practicing safe sex! Just had to toss that in!
As my mom always said when we would find used ones in the alley behind our house (near Me Kwa Mooks) at least they are using birth control...wouldn't want to pass along the slob genes!
But, yeah, awfully disgusting. And they really don't need to be showing up on the Alki Elementary playfield, which according to my 9yo they are now, with alarming frequency. Why is it so hard for people to clean up after themselves???
