Someone stole three bikes off our front porch last night at about 3:00 a.m. We're in between Genesee Hill and Alaska Junction.
We actually woke up, but initially thought it was our nephew getting his bike to go to work. We did scare them off before they took all our bikes, though. We didn't see them, and are waiting until business hours to file a police report.
They took my daily commuter, which is spray-painted black and white and has pink streamers. It fits a short woman, and is actually a decent bike that looks crappy. It is a custom frame so it doesn't have a serial number.
The other two bikes were my kid's. One green BMX style bike, and one teal green mountain bike. She had completely rebuilt the mountain bike herself, so is pretty bummed about it. The mountain bike also doesn't look like much but has good components, which would set it apart from other kids bikes. It's a Raleigh Scout.
If you could please keep your eyes open, I would appreciate it!!!
And lock up your bikes!
