RAVE - Alki Lumber Open Saturdays!

    Apparently Alki Lumber started Saturdays about a month ago...it was nice to be able to drop in...no parking headaches...most of the same weekday staff I've worked with before (especially that Charlie guy who seems to be a "Macgyver" with lumber products) and higher quality lumber & more options than Home Depot. While historically a contractor friendly shop...I believe this was a good move by the ownership to be available the DIY's & Weekend Warriors too! I believe hours are 8am to 1pm...which is a short time...but still nice convenient option for WS I think!

    yep, i agree with shopping locally and not at the big boxes.

    even though their ownership supports dino rossi :O most of their profits stay in west seattle.

    (but i believe they're at least partly franchised to ace hardware.)
