Hi, I have tried freecycle but I thought I would try here. I am attempting to learn quickbooks and have bought a book (but it didn't have a CD) and I can download some files to practice on but I need a copy of quickbooks to open the files. Does anyone have a copy of quickbooks that they aren't using anymore? Perhaps you have upgraded? I will only use the program to learn. Thank You celestine18@comcast.net

  2. They currently have an online edition that you can use for free.

I tried that but it won't let me download the program. Its just an online version. I need the program installed so I can open the practice units.

Luckymom I can take any version of quickbooks as long as it is on a CD. No floppy drive on my laptop.

Hi EmmyJane, I have an AAS in Accounting from SSCC. I used Quickbooks a long time ago and I am trying to brush up my skills. I am looking for work and I notice that a lot of the jobs that I am interested they want quickbooks. So I thought I would update my skills.

Celeste- I will let you know if I hear of any job openings. Have you tried working with one of the accounting recruiting firms, like iMatch, Two Degress, or Ajilon? They're a good place to get your resume on file so they'll contact you when something that fits your skill set comes up.

Hi Emmy, I am listed with Ajilon. The only restriction I have is that I only want to work Part Time (at least to start) and I need to be close to home. I can't work Bellevue, Tacoma. I need to be close to home so if Mom needs me I can get here fast.
