Many years ago we had the PTA -- then, we decided to add students. Now I think it's time to add "other" (community?) to the title and to the group. As school funding becomes more and more tenuous, we need to make clear that schools are vital to the community -- not just to P's, T's, and S's.
I have many debates with other folks, like the charla and the bob, who don't fall into any of those categories and, therefore, tend to vote no on bond issues, etc. I think this would be a good way, both symbolic and real, to make sure everyone feels included.
