   Calling around... Fairmount Park, Alki & Bonair, and E Junction has power. Guess the SL message was a bit "broad."

   Whitecaps, wind and a few raindrops in Alki. We still have power.

   We've had some VERY strong wind gusts in Fairmount (near Camp Long & Mt. St. Vincent) since shortly before 9 PM...fortunately, we still have power.

   42nd & Andover, still have power here but it has flickered a few times. Crazy high winds and some rain falling now.
   Can't say I mind the temporary change in temps as a bit of a reprieve. I love the gorgeous weather, but sleeping is much more pleasant when it's not so humid.

    celeste: I think you've just articulated the need for some kind of hand-cranked or solar-powered device by which to read the West Seattle Blog when the power is out. ;-)
