Power Loss

  3. Calling around... Fairmount Park, Alki & Bonair, and E Junction has power. Guess the SL message was a bit "broad."

  4. Whitecaps, wind and a few raindrops in Alki. We still have power.

  5. We've had some VERY strong wind gusts in Fairmount (near Camp Long & Mt. St. Vincent) since shortly before 9 PM...fortunately, we still have power.

    42nd & Andover, still have power here but it has flickered a few times. Crazy high winds and some rain falling now.
    Can't say I mind the temporary change in temps as a bit of a reprieve. I love the gorgeous weather, but sleeping is much more pleasant when it's not so humid.

    and we call this the modern world. lets think about how we use (on the grid) power, and how we could live without it

  10. celeste: I think you've just articulated the need for some kind of hand-cranked or solar-powered device by which to read the West Seattle Blog when the power is out. ;-)
