I was just walking my dog on 42nd south of Hanford and happened upon a woman who appeared to be prowling cars parked along the street. When she saw us coming, she turned the other way and ran with a white grocery bag. She was wearing what looked like a black track suit with red trim. Maybe it was nothing, but it definitely looked pretty shady. If your car is parked on the northern half of that block and maybe are the sort to forget to lock your car, you might go check and see if anything is missing.
I tried to call the police to report 'suspicious activity' but they seem to have managed enough obstacles in their voice mail system to dissuade anyone from even trying such a thing.
