  1. When will politicians learn to keep their mouths shut. And when will these terrible journalists covering the pols learn that they are NOT friends of politicians.

I am disgusted with the journalists.

  2. HMCRich..

Why are you disgusted with the journalists?
    isn't that their job?

I admit that at a quick glance, this looks more like sensationalism than news

but the way these leaders relate to one another is pertinent information.

I miss the days when journalists questioned the official line and printed more than just what came over the news feeds.

  4. So Netanyahu is a pushy pain-in-the-ass whom other people can't stand. Um, is there somebody in a cave somewhere who doesn't already KNOW this?

Telling the truth (on mic or off) should not earn anybody a demerit in my opinion.

  5. You can assume it's an oversight but you never know. And he is just another arrogant prick who keeps getting in the way of anything positive.

So, if Netanyahu is all things evil and a pain in the ass.... why did we sell them precision guided bunker busters? I believe 55 of them. There is nothing in the territories that would possibly require their use. Nothing in Syria ... the only thing that is remotely plausible is the hardened nuclear facilities in Iran. One would reasonably assume that the sale of such ordnance would be only to a trusted, reliable ally....not a truculent, dishonest, demagoge. So, which is it? Who is the real Obama?

    NPR Interview:

RAZ: Eli, as you know, there are some American Jewish voters who regard the Obama administration as insufficiently pro-Israel. And I wonder whether this leak or whatever it was by the administration was a deliberate or maybe a subtle attempt to send a message to those voters.

LAKE: I have to tell you, I don't like to discuss my sources on the air. But I would say that I reported the story and I've been working on this story for some time. I would say that it's off to say that it was politically motivated.

    – F**k if I know, kootch. Personally, I was against that one. (Pssshhh! What the hell do I know? I was against the Iraq war, even.)

Sadly, I must admit that I think you are correct when you say that the B-Bs are ultimately intended for use against Iran.

One would reasonably assume that the sale of such ordnance would be only to a trusted, reliable ally....not a truculent, dishonest, demagoge.

    – Yeah, one WOULD assume that . . . in a REASONABLE world. But that's just where one would be wrong, because reasonable is just the kind of place this old world ain't.

Remember how we sold weapons technology to Saddam Hussein – back in the days when we thought he was "our guy"?

And weren't you saying something just the other day about DOJ selling assault weapons to Mexican drug cartels?

Oh my! Have drug cartels become our newest "trusted, reliable ally"?

    Oy! Vot a vacky voild!

I remember well..... and all the satellite images which they promptly used to disperse Sarin gas... observing the cloud cover and enhanced persistance by the atmospheric pressure conditions (also needed for ranging artilary) from our weather satellites.

  10. The microphone is always on, and the camera. I love this one by Joe Walsh from Illinois talking to his constituents.
    http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-57321815-503544/joe-walsh-i-got-a-bit-too-passionate-with-my-constituent/

Just for you people who believe everything should be equal, here is the spin from Think Progress .. http://thinkprogress.org/special/2011/11/10/365890/walsh-insults-post-office-worker/

No more coffee please, eat some food.
But, besides being too forceful and saying someone should leave, I loved his rant. I see Think Progress tries to link him with the greedy banks, but what pol doesn't?

  11. Sarkozy is French. The French are ... well French. They walk to the beat of a different drum. What is new with that?

When Obama said I have to deal with Bibi every day, I thought "good, at least he is doing something besides wrecking the economy".

  12. Ah yes, those silly French. Aren't these the same people who think that free health care is good for you, while a genetically-modified hamburger is bad!

Fah! Is it any wonder that the leader of such a people would think it a virtue to speak honestly of another man?

Oh, how quaint. How charmingly eccentric!

But really . . . comment pouvez-vous les prendre au sérieux?

(How can one take them seriously?)

  13. Oui, Let them eat cake. But they did define right and left.

We should have known not to get in involved in Indo-China after they bailed.

But we must always Thank them for Lady Liberty.
