Police at the Post Office about 3 PM or so.

  1. Anybody know why there were 5 or 6 police cars and a bunch of cops milling around in front of the Junction Post Office this afternoon? I just saw them as I drove by.

This is what I know, as I was on my way to get a coffee. A man was apprehended by the police for acting strangely in the post office. He was released. Ready?: older man, car with Florida plates.

The police released him at approx. 2:55, just as many school kids were emerging.

    Oh no! Not that.

    Please. Please, God.

    Don't let it be true . . .

No, I was referring to the man who has been harrassing women in the Admiral area; he who stopped a runner, made advances toward several women inside and outside of his car. (I've added this link to my original post.)

  8. FYI I tried to get information on this from police late this afternoon after hearing about it. Did not get a reply, will renew the request tomorrow. The 911 response map, which at least shows the call classification after a few hours, calls it "suspicious person." - TR
