The inside seating areas on the water taxi are air conditioned.
I spent some quality time at Barnes and Nobel yesterday. Nice and cool.
At last check, Cupcake Royale/Verite and Alki Cafe.
Sorry, I see that while I was posting this, the person I mentioned was creating the restaurant list after all. Justin, if you don't mind reposting to the "restaurants with a/c" I will retitle this "Places with a/c OTHER than restaurants/bars" - the water taxi works there :)
Barnes and Noble at Westwood. AC and tasty cold frappuccinos and new smoothies!

Annnnd libraries have free wi-fi. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, most don't stay open very late these days.
not all libraries have a/c; WS had to shut early last yr heat wave because it was too hot

I'm at Bellevue downtown library right now; heavenly ac, 2 hr use of computers (per location; not just per day like in Seattle) and free printing (75 pages/wk)

back to WS; last yr during heat I went to Senior Center on California, which has ac
oh, and I just came from interview at The Container Store in Lincoln Square (across from Bellevue Square); tons of free parking and very cool!!!
Not WS but downtown, the Atrium at the WaMu Building (1201 Third Avenue) has a/c and wi-fi.

The Y. Kids Gym open from 4-6. Kids Create 6-8. A/C. Nice and cool to work out.
Shanti Salon and Day Spa @2138 California ave SW has air conditioning. They are also participating in the Art Walk tonight from 6-9pm. Come by for refreshments,photography by Carlene Renyolds of Portland and very cute earrings and hairclips by a local artist. Maybe get a haircut too!
The Wash Dog at 6400 California Ave SW has air conditioning. Self-service bathing bays are almost always open for washing your dog.
