I need a new monitor. Anyone got a place to buy local?

  2. Staples and Target should have them. Not sure if Seattle Computing (former Quidnunc store) has any hardware. There is also that computer store in White Center - corner of 16th and Roxbury.

If you want to venture to SODO or Tukwila, RE:PC may have used ones available.

  3. Don't bother trying to buy local on an LCD. The selection is too small and the price will be too high.

Costco has a pretty good selection and even the vizio LCD tv's work seamlessly as a monitor and have rgb (d-sub15) connectors as well as HDMI.

If you have amazon prime, the selection improves and you can get free or low cost shipping.

Dell make some of the best currently and you can buy direct over the net or from amazon. Direct from Dell is usually cheaper including the shipping.
