My old kitty would have stolen a piece and gone to munch it somewhere before you knew it was gone.

  5. Orson loves him some Ezell's but is polite enough to only take what chicken he's given. Keep close guard over your ice cream cones however.

That doesn't help me! How did you do it besides using their embed link? Just for a generic picture.

And I did attempt to follow the instructions in the sticky thread.

  9. I think it has to be a picture that is posted on the web - it can't just be from your computer.

    type: <
    then: img src =
    then: "http://www.fugly.com/media/IMAGES/Funny/reject-christ_receive_bacon.jpg"
    then: / >

hopefully this will make sense. I tried to type it up earlier and it thought I was adding another pic.

Not my baby, but an exact replica of one I have intimate access to, and yes, must squeeze often.

So, does someone see where my mistake is above? or is it b/c I work with a mac?

    Posted 3 years ago #
  25. I have been having issues too, and I am on a PC. testing here again:

    <imgsrc="http://blahblahblog.files.wordpress.com/2006/09/bacon.jpg"/>

    Posted 3 years ago #
  26. There needs to be a space between img and src
and there must be nothing outside the quotation marks. That / needs to go.

    Posted 3 years ago #
  27. well, damn it all. trying again.

  31. I could not get the image you are trying to use to appear even when putting it in the browser as a direct link.

Try a pic you know exist.

  35. bdg:
looking at the source for the above post, I don't see anything at all. I should see failed html code unless you are doing something more wrong than your first attempts.

Post the url for the picture you want to post and I will try it and send you the code as a text file.

  39. BDG - lol, yes!

    Posted 3 years ago #
  40. Let's try this:
type a left arrow (above the comma)then with no space, type the letters "img" without the quotes, then a space, then the letters "src" (without quotes) followed by the equal sign, and double quotes (above the apostrophe)

Then cut and paste a url for an image that is viewable in your browser.

Follow that with another double quote, a space, a frontslash (below the question mark) and end with a right arrow (above the period)

  43. umm I never looked into the pm function. brb.

    Posted 3 years ago #
  44. This link should be a text file that should be readable and you can save it for reference. Cut n past the last full line and your pic should appear

    http://www.ken-davis.net/avatar/bdgpic.txt

Note to others. On flicker and other sites, the url for the page with comments, is not the same as the url for just the photo.

On firefox, the right click on an image shows the menu choice "copy image location". Past this into an address bar on any browser and just the image should appear and you should be able to add the code snippets to post it here.

    Posted 3 years ago #
  45. Erik: That pic is pretty big :)

But follow the text file above and add the prefix and suffix to that url and it will show up unless WSB has put some limit on the size of the pic.
