Pesto for Plums

I could use 10+ pounds of plums to make jam. If you have extra plums I'd be happy to trade my garden veggies, plum jam, or pesto (freezes beautifully!).

My mom has a tree in South Park that is loaded with plums. I'm sure you can take some if you pick them yourself. I will ask her when she thinks they are ready to pick.

My mom's plums are about 1-2 weeks away from being fully ripe. I will post again then if anyone is still looking for plums.

  10. I also have a plum tree in my backyard, I believe they are italian prune plums (the small purple kind except these are quite large this year). The tree is laden down with the fruit and it looks to me like the fruit is ripe. I also just walked by the tree a few minutes ago and you can really smell the plums. The tree is easily accessible so the fruit can be picked at any time. If anyone is interested in picking the fruit, please call me at 206-384-2933 any day after 5 p.m.

  11. Update on my plums: they were not so much ready to pick as ready to shake the tree and catch. Since they were so close to all dropping off the tree, I contacted the folks with Community Harves. They came by today with boxes and we picked all of the plums on the tree. Sorry for not posting sooner, this is the first opportunity I have had this evening to post the update.

If you'd like some Siam Queen (thai basil) for plums, I'd be happy to trade.
