I would say 8 - 10 not sure of size - regular pallets and some half as well as other lumber and materials could be used for shelving or such.

I cherry-picked 5 or 6 full size and 3 half size pallets. A few items are still left that could be used as pallets (not sure of sturdiness, my truck was full). Some of what is left would probably be best as firewood.

I may stop by later to pick more (with firewood in mind).

We may swing by to pick up some leftovers, as we have a small amount to take to Nicklesville anyway. I would want a fire on a day like this...

Took some away from the alley and got it down to Nickelsville. They put your pallets away after we brought the leftovers, jamjets. We left the painted stuff behind in the alley cuz they are trying to be ecologically friendly. jamjets, if you have any enegy left, sillygrrl(sp?) in an earlier post has chips in her driveway that we are getting for Nickelsville as well so if you want to help us get those down there it would be great. Our truck has a canopy where I'm assuming yours doesn't, which makes for easier shoveling.First we need to get the first load dumped at a community garden that needs them, then lunch, then back to shoveling.

  11. If anyone with a truck that's hauling stuff for Nickelsville could pick up another pallet - I have one on the south side of my house (next to the garage) at 10411 34th AVE SW.
Actually anyone who would like to have it is welcome to it, for stacking things on, or burning...

    Thanks!!

Jamjets: we got the chips so you're off the hook. Thanks so much for your other efforts to help Nickelsville. We ought to team up sometime. There's so much out there for free that they can use as you well know.

I saw some chip remnants on the ground when I did the water run a little while ago, so thanks! Traffic was so bad this morning I barely had time to drop the pallets off before I was late for other comittments. My days are pretty full, I'm doing about all I have time for right now. Looking forward to the "potluck/open house" on the 18th!!

Thanks for taking the pallets - theres some leftover wood scraps , flooring, cupboard material, wainscoting and wood if anyone wants it. Might be enough flooring to do an entry way.
