One Eccentric, One Old Man, and One Normal Girl Selling Tons o' Stuff!

  1. 3405 30th Ave SW, West Seattle, 98126

We're selling furniture such as OAK CHAIRS, COOL TABLES and UNCOOL TABLES, LAMPS, a COUCH with MATCHING ARM CHAIR, FOUR-POSTER BEDS (yes, that's more than one), a BUNK BED (you assemble), an Ethan Allen END TABLE, and more more more.

Oh yeah, a half dozen STEAMER TRUNKS!

We're broken to part with our INDUSTRIAL COMPRESSOR, KEROSENE HEATER, KEROSENE LAMPS, and LEADED STAINED GLASS.

We weep to see go our ANTIQUE FOOSBALL TABLE, a POOL TABLE, BOWLING PINS, BOARD GAMES (all excellent condition), and other nonelectronic gaming pastimes.

We celebrate the pending disappearance of THOUSANDS OF ALBUMS and HUNDREDS of MAGAZINES such as Playboy, Life, and others too numerous to mention.

COOKWARE galore. TOOLS out the yin-yang. THINGAMAJIGS, DOODADS, and WHATCHAMACALLITS profuse. Paraphernalia from GRANDMA'S house. Plethoras of just plain ol' cool stuff and even not so cool stuff!

The odds and ends continue: CIGAR BOXES, GLASSWARE, sturdy SOMBREROS, RHINESTONE JEWELRY, PEWTER FIGURINES, and on and on and on. We kid you not!

Also, for those of you expecting, you can outfit your male child right this moment from the age of 0 to 15 years with all the CLOTHES, BOOKS, and TOYS you'll ever need for those formative years. (Said child will be available to prove these items will make him turn out good.).

And, sadly, you can swoosh through the clothing history of a woman as she travailed through size 8 to size 10, teetered at size 12, peaked at size 14, and even visited size 16 for a time, until she finally settled for the 12/14 rail. (Do note that all clothing has been purged of anything with stains, holes, tears, and so forth, so your time is not wasted looking through crappy, smelly clothes--everything has been washed for this event.)

Finally, Normal Girl will be selling her SOVIET PINS at $2 per pin or 6 for $10. Choose from more than 50,000 pins. CZECH GLASS PINS, too ($5 each).

Did we mention the HASKO BUFFET TRAYS? The BACHMANN TRAIN SET? The ANTIQUE STRAIGHT RAZORS? The TACKLE BOX and other FISHING CAGES? The ANTIQUE WORKING MIXER? The 50-cent NUNCHUCKER?

SALE is SATURDAY & SUNDAY, 13th & 14th June, from 10 AM to 6 PM or later.

DIRECTIONS: Take the West Seattle Bridge toward West Seattle, take the HARBOR AVE EXIT, at the light go straight onto 30TH AVENUE SW (in other words, cross Harbor Ave, don't get on it), and swing right with the road and it's about 4 or 5 houses on your left. For West Seattleites, you likely know the area, but Mapquest.com will give you perfect directions with the address listed above.

And hey! We look forward to chit-chatting with everyone who swings by. See you this weekend!

We'll be there -- and I *never* go to yard sales. That's either great advertising or you're preaching to a bunch of people who will just look :-)
