Amazing what technology can do these days, eh?
uh, speechless.
Will it make the tacos taste better?
Uh...gross. I just threw up in my mouth a little.
Peach flavored Sprite? Strawberry Water?
More doesn't always equal better.
Can it do only syrup? Does it make slush puppies? Can I get a double coke? Are a few questions that immediately come to mind.
I have seen these before...odd when you first see them. Nice since you can put in as much ice as you want and choices galore.
My daughter came home raving about her "grape sprite", so this might be a hit with the kiddos!
Sounds like some of the flavors that Coke sells in other parts of the word. You can try a lot of them at the World of Coke in Atlanta and some are nasty.
But a peach sprite sounds pretty good to me. :)
now if they'd just serve booze...
It would be cool if you could choose to have your sody-pop made with REAL SUGAR!
But we have massive agri-business corporations and corn subsidies to think of.
Been there, done that, in my father's corner drug store with a giant soda fountain in the late 50s. He used to let me have the run of the place. Let me tell you, dawsonct, it was real sugar back then!
Some people would order a chocolate Coke. One of my favorites was a cherry Coke, that is, cherry syrup in the bottom of the Coke glass and then Coca Cola out of the red Coke machine/dispenser, mixed with chipped ice.
Believe me, I mixed every flavor he had, and then mixed the carbonated water with it.
Honest to god, my favorite is still a Coke float, with real, old fashioned hard vanilla ice cream.
The "ice man" used to deliver chipped ice daily to my Dad's drugstore. Great memories!
Genesee Hill...
a coke float would taste so good right now..
soda fountains were the original "have it your way" place.
I only drink Mexican sodas anymore, GH1.

Oh yeah, and Izzi. That stuff is awesome.
i like dry sodas, as well. they're a nice alternative to super-sweet sodas.
i'm angling for a sodastream here at our palatial estate. you can make your own soda with an appliance that's about the size of a small coffee maker. reusable bottles, control of ingredients, and made with your own tap water.
I've never been a soda fan - that stuff'll kill ya.
I think redblack had the best idea: "now if they'd just serve booze..."
sun-e:
Then I should have been dead many, many years ago...
sun-e: hanging around family restaurants and getting liquored up on vodka and peach sprite slushies is underrated.
redblack, I've had the SodaStream Penguin for a year now and love it. Definitely highly recommed... doooo it!
great! more sugary crap for the zombies!
or, corn syrupy crap for the zombies!
