Someone noted on the blog a while ago that there is a person chasing away wasps with a non-toxic spray or some such thing. Can anyone provide a lead on this? Thanks!

just fill a plastic bag with sugar water in the bottom third then poke holes (large enough for the wasps to get in around the top. The wasps can get in but can't get out. I hang these around my deck, works everytime (although change them out occasionally, flies love it too and it can get stinky)

  3. I had a nest of yellowjackets in my yard some years ago. Seattle Tilth referred me to a fellow who came out for free and vacuumed them up. (He explained that he sells them to companies that make anti-venom shots for people who are allergic to stings.) Sorry, I don't have his info anymore but a quick call to Seattle Tilth should be able to put you in touch.
