New restaurant where Olarn Thai Bistro used to be

    I walked by the restaurant known as Olarn (at the corner of California & Brandon) this morning. The Olarn signage is gone, replaced by another Thai restaurant name. The facade has also been repainted a little, and there are signs of a remodel (construction debris out back). Anybody know the scoop? Is it the same people, just remodeled & renamed? New owners?

    Hi west seattle golfer.

    I noticed the same thing a few weeks ago, and sent an e-mail to WSB. TR/lowmanbeach looked into it, and apparently it had been going by the new name, internally, for several months (Since about the first of the year IIRC)

    Also, IIRC, it's the same, long time owners.
