   Is anyone viewing netflix on demand using a Roku set-top player? if so, how is it? i am considering this although i want to watch them on my PC and not the TV.

   We watch Netflix on demand on our computer all of the time! Works great. We also watch occasionally on the tv through my son's xbox, which works pretty easy for him (not me, I can never remember how to set it up, shades of getting old I think)! Beware, Netflix on demand got me hooked on the first season of Heros.

   WSMom- to view the movies over your PC, did you need to get the roku box (or some other box between the PC and the cable)?

   B-squared, we have the same set-up as WSMom. We mostly watch on our computers, but also through Xbox Live on tv. I don't have anything special on my laptop to view, but we use a wireless router (may be why I don't even know what a roku box is?). I think all you need is a connection, cable or wireless though.

   Now I'm showing my "lack of knowledgability" regarding our computer. We have Comcast internet and a Linksys Wireless broadband router, if that's any help...I have no idea what a roku box is, sorry :)

   You shouldn't need anything. Just go to the movie and click "watch instantly". Netflix configures reads your connection and streams it. It will tell you if you need to download a player and link you right to it. I am using a Mac and it works great.

   Cool! Thanks for all the replies. i was hoping to not have to buy an additional box as i do have comcast cable for the PC. now to get a decent monitor;)
