What can a person do about a neighbor who is woking on their car/truck constantly and basicly spilling oil and transmission fluid all over the street?
He must have lost a couple quarts of tranny fluid last night which will flow out to Roxbury and eventually down the storm drain.

I think you should put some newspapers down in the street to soak it up and then leave it on his hood with a note that says \"I think you forgot something\". Maybe that will get his attention!

  4. For illegal dumping of chemicals in storm drains call:
    (206) 684-7587

This is the specific number for Seattle Public Utilities for reporting storm drain contamination violations.

  5. For those of you who have never lost a transmission seal while rolling ...

There is not a lot you can do about it while it is happening.

Cleanup is best with kitty litter and then a shovel.

If he is removing the transmission in the street then that is something a complaint can be made about.

If it is in his driveway, offer him a bag of kitty litter from your stash :)

He was doing it in the street.

I said hell with it and went over there with a couple gallons of super absorbant Kitty Litter.
It is easier for me to just do it myself than confront him about it.

If we are going to make W.S. and W.C. a better place, we need to take upon ourselves and clean up. report messy yards and drug houses.
