Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but as far as I know, the Costco on 4th still has a bakery. Or is it that you can't get there and need another option?
(Never mind: I see your latest post came in while I was typing mine.)

Try the Original Bakery! They do good work.

Safeway ended up making the largest, most delicious Birthday sheet cake that fed more than 65 people for around $50 dollars. The cake was delicious. I'm glad I can say something really wonderful for the Jefferson Sq. Safeway Bakery Dept.

Seven years ago, when borracchini's was in the junction, I bought their 2/3 size sheet cake for around $30.

Yes, Borracchini's sheet cakes (and fractions thereof) are delicious and cheap. Love that they have so many cake, filling, and frosting flavor options, and they offer real buttercream.

Coffee To A Tea / Sugar Rush Baking Company made a beautiful, fabulous tasting sheet cake for an event of ours....It was decorated with 'Alsan' from Narina. Everyone loved it. Cheers, F3

Salvador Bakery does sheet cakes, I know.
But I have never tasted them, nor do I know how large they are.Hmm. Does that *really* help anybody? ;)

Nouveau's website says they do sheet cakes, which I wasn't expecting to see. I'm planning an event and they're my first choice. Now seriously dreaming of Praline Dream or Phoenix sheet cake.

Borracchini's also will decorate the sheet cake frosting with any photo (jpg) of your choice. Which can be kind of fun.
