   I am looking for a landscape & patio designer recommendation. I actually have the landscaping part down pretty well - what I really need is someone who can design a patio layout that addresses recreation and drainage needs. I\'ve already tried a few landscape designers but they were more plant-focused ($$ down the drain). I want someone who can come up with creative solutions - the simple rectangular designs that I come up with aren\'t cutting it with my wife. I\'d also like to incorporate rainwater storage if possible. Thanks.

   I splurged and used Mitch Monetti. He\'s very talented, especially hardscapes. Not inexpensive, however.

   Thumbs up on Jon Forgays. He\'s done some nice work for us. Big thumbs down on Shon Robinson though. Working with him has been the most frustrating experience we\'ve ever had with somebody hired to do work on/around our house.

   Scott at http://seatoskylandscaping.com/ is great!!!! He installed and helped design our brick patio and does great work all around!
