   i will be at coffee to a tea sunday at 11:30

   and i promise to set another coffee meetup after the first of the year...

   sooner or later there will be a time/place that everyone can get to.. at least once.

   The following weekend (if the same day/time) would still not be good for me as I'd always be in church at that hour. And both weekends I have an event after church that would keep me from showing up later. But I hope you have fun at the meetup on Sunday, and look forward to another gathering after the first of the year!

    JoB, I love you dearly online - (OK even in person) but please make it an ALL GENDER gathering! (none of this "women of a certain age *hit) I WILL be there for sure! I will even prevail on Kootchman to be there as well. Preferably some venue that has beer, wine, and really greasy food! Could be anything from roast pig to overly fried doughnuts, or best yet - BOTH!

    I know a great cardiologist (two bypasses later) if you or anyone have any issues. And he would likely be enjoying the party until the *hit hits the fan for any attendee. :)

    there were requests for 3 different meet-ups..

    i separated them into three topics
    and commented that i had done so on the original topic.

    I am not going to go back and check..
    but i am pretty sure in all of the who haw about ladies getting together that we mentioned that there was an all gender meet-up on the women of a certain age topic.

    i did my best to be clear.

    I am pretty sure i was... You even said yourself that 11:30 AM n Sunday was a bit early for you but that you would be there.

    I think the fog simply got to everyone's brains...
    stuff happens.

    if you want to reboot for next weekend.. by all means.. fly a flag.
    if i can make it will be there :)
    "some venue that has beer, wine, and really greasy food" doesn't exactly appeal to me this morning..
    but that may be because i indulged too much this weekend
    starting with taking the Italian lunch concept too far on Friday...

    or .. maybe we can try again next year ;->

    we did it last year, had a lovely group, and there is nothing in this OP that says that it was not gender neutral. One can try to organize something, and sometimes it simply doesn't work for people because of other commitments. But one can't say we didn't try...

    Sorry JoB! (and Jan S) Three is too many numbers for a male to sort out. Next time - ONE meetup, ALL gender, and I guarantee you it will be more folks than just you and Jan.

    How about next time, you and Jan get one of those ropes like they use in day care and all the males can hold onto the rope as they are herded to the meetup?

    if we could get the resident males to the rope we wouldn't need to lead them to the meeting ;->

    substitute beer for the rope and i suspect we wouldn't have to beat them off with a stick:)

    hmmmm...be a trend setter ok - I can try. is anyone up for New Years Day - maybe early afternoon for those of us who like to sleep in or may be nursing a hang over?

    I'll have to research and see who is open on New Years Day. I think WSB is posting who is open on Christmas Day will it be doing the same for New Years Day. I vote for somewhere along Alki.
