   Hi all. I'm considering going to an ND for some thyroid issues. I've heard good things about Bastyr NDs but was hoping someone on here might have a personal recommendation. It'd be extra great if you used one to treat thyroid issues. I have a large, non cancerous nodule and need some extensive blood work, and probably regulation.

   eta: doesn't have to be in West Seattle but is obviously preferred.

   West Seattle Natural Medicine on California - all the NDs there are great, I had thyroid issues which Dr. Jennifer Lush helped greatly with. (206) 938-1393 is their phone and web is http://www.westseattlenaturalmedicine. I tried western route to no avail, ND is the way to go if you want a holistic answer.

   Recommending both Dr. Catherine Orsi at Westside Natural Medicine 206.938.9355 as well as Dr. Nancy Roberts of Sequoia Naturopathic in Greenwood 206.362.3250. Both are from Bastyr.

   ellenater - I have used the services of Doctor Orsi for issues other than a thyroid condition and have found her to be most knowledgeable and professional. I understand Doctor Orsi has worked with a number of people who have thyroid conditions.

   About 15+ years ago I had begun my own thyroid care with Doctor Roberts and made the decision to have continuity of care with her for that issue.

   I've seen Dr. Whittington at the West Seatle Medicine Clinic on California Ave for thyroid problems. She's great!
