marneemilnerMemberOur (almost) 3-year-old attends preschool 4 days a week in the mornings and we are looking for someone Monday-Thursdays to pick him up from school at 11:30 a.m. in West Seattle (in your car) until 5 p.m. Payrate is $15/hour. We would like to secure someone who can commit to at least a year of service with us to help with consistency and routine.
Our son is easygoing, friendly, loves to play, has a great sense of humor and can be quite the charmer. He is very verbal and interactive. He still takes about a 2 hour nap (at least) midday.
Ideal candidate: warm, kind, active, likes to physically get into play time, self-motivated, takes the initiative to get things done, lives in Seattle, familiar with local activities fun for little ones, experience with toddlers and knowledgeable with child development. Job duties: pick up from school, naptime, cleans up after him and his things around the house, prepare his food/meals, his laundry/bedding and help us stay organized.
If you believe you are a good fit, please contact us (marneemilner@gmail.com) so that we can discuss further including additional benefits. We are looking to find the right person for this job asap.

babysitterladyMemberHello, my name is Linda. I have over 10 years experience running my own successful home daycare. I was a nanny for a 4 year old last year from January to August, for a couple in New Castle, who were both police officers. I closed my daycare 2 years ago to come home to the Seattle area and care for my elderly mother. My position as nanny for the 4 year old ended because the child started preschool full time. I haven’t worked with children for about a year because I’ve been helping my recently widowed older sister sort out her late husbands estate and sell her house. The people I was a nanny for last year will give me an excellent reference. If you are interested in chatting with me about my knowledge and experience caring for children, please feel free to call my cell phone, 360-551-2582. Or email at notjustababysitter@hotmail.com
