I am trying to help a friend find an in-laid wooden Sorrento Italian music box for her niece for graduation, she does not want to purchase online, so does anyone know where we can find a music box store in Seattle? Thanks!

I think you are describing something that is "higher end" than this store sells; but I would ask at the The Great Wind Up in Pike Place Market. They do have wind up musical boxes, etc.

That sounds like something Russell's in the Junction might have.

If Russell's doesn't have it I bet they will find it for you and give you a fair price. I have dealt with them on hard to fined objects and they found them and gave me a good price. Service with a smile.

There used to be a "San Francisco Music Box Company" shop in Northgate Mall, but looks like it's gone. However, checking their website for store locators reveals that they sell things through Aubrey's Clock Gallery in Issaquah's Gilman Village, so it might be worth giving that shop a call too (425/392-5200 accd to the website I found).

Thanks everyone! I checked the Great Wind up and it is a toy store, I did search and found Aubrey's in Issaquah so I will tell my friend. I too remember San Francisco Music Box store in the mall but yes they have gone out of business in the State of Washington!
