   where is the nearest Military base?

   Hi,
   The nearest military base to West Seattle is actually down at Pier 36 the Coast Guard base. I am not sure what services you need but they have a small exchange and ID card services. I believe the next closest would be either Fort Lewis army base or McChord Air Force base.There is a large commissary and exchange there as well as the usual medical and ID card services. They are further south just past the Tacoma area, exits are directly off of I-5. Then there is always the option of taking the ferry across the Navy Base in Bremerton. And there is another Navy base in Everett.

   Nope. That's not spam. That's wingnut. The caps lock, the poor reading comprehension, and the authoritarian follower simple minded non sequitur all indicate another collection of misfiring synapses that even Eisenhower and Goldwater would reject.

   As an interesting sidenote on this discussion, the Puget Sound region has the 3rd largest Naval presence in the country (behind San Diego and Norfolk). I have had the recent opportunity to work with the new Commander for the region, RDML Symonds, and he is a super impressive guy!

    Agreed, however it could also be a Moonbat, who bear the exact same glazed over mypoic traits.
