Mattress Donation??

    We have a queen size mattress with two twin box springs that we would like to donate somewhere. Any ideas of an organization that would pick it up? Thanks!

    If you don\'t find an organization, there\'s always freecycle. Think \"dryer lint\". :-)

    Sharehouse is one of the few local charitable organizations that will take used mattresses, along with other household stuff. They use their donations to help people make the transition from homelessness. Great organization, nice people and they even pick up!

    There was also a segment recently on the news about NW Furniture Bank, who were helping flood victims from Chehalis. Their warehouse full of donations was destroyed by fire a week or so ago and now they need donations again. I also have some mattresses to donate and was thinking about contacting them.
