   RANT to the man who repeatedly hit his dog in the face near the Admiral Safeway apparently for wagging his tail at another dog. How sad that you believe friendliness is to be punished and in such an inappropriate way! Your neighbors are watching.

   Do you know where he lives? PLEASE turn him in. If he's willing to do that in public I don't even want to think about what he does to the poor dog in private. Piece of &#*@.

   Unfortunately nothing can be done even with a picture, the way the laws are written and time and resources are limited, very little or nothing would get done.

   I myself would have gone up the SOB and had a few words.

   Sorry you had to see that. I see this just about everyday in my rescue.

   I saw some guys on Dr. Phil I'd like to send in this guy's direction. They're some kind of Hell's Angels animal rescue group. They deal with abusers in rather unique ways...

   Regrettably I don't have a very good description-middle aged man, on the heavier side, about 5'11". The dog was medium sized with short hair (similar in color to the golden retriever he was trying to greet, long tail. Anonyme, I've heard of them-LOVE them! While we are not an organized group, it's a comfort to know I have animal advocate buddies out there!

    Thank you for your posting. My boys and I will most certainly keep our eyes open for this loser. How unbelievably awful some people can be. What makes me even sadder is the dog's unending love and loyalty to this undeserving person.
