I heard it too, but couldn't get a look at it because of trees in the way. You can complain to the Port here:

I saw 2 military jets flying overhead (High Point) area that were on the loud side, even though they had good altitude. Might have been them, but it didn't look like they had taken off in Seattle, maybe Whidbey.

There is a week long military event going on down at McChord. They have a few fighter jets from other bases there so that might have been what you all heard.

we heard it too, but didn't see anything. The BF thought it sounded like military aircraft.

I heard it to! Was out on the deck with the doggies, and they flipped out barking it was SO loud! I couldn't see a plane at all, and I had a wide open view! Would love to find out what it was...
