Lots of police at alki... did something happen?

    Or are they just preparing for the ws graduation celebration? anyone know? they've got gang unit, mounted unit, all the units down there!

    nothing working right now that we can determine. have had scattered reports of police at scenes in admiral but not finding anything to bear it out as we arrive ...

    Update: It was a "warrant service" - and that's all police will comment about it - so it wasn't an actual happening incident, but rather the arrest of a suspect or suspects wanted for something else.

    Couple of SPD cars, lights no siren, zipping west down Admiral at 11:15 pm Sat Jun 12th.

    Just left Alki at 11. Looked pretty peaceful as we left but there were some "13" gang members down there earlier starting a fight with another group. Something must've happened after we left. Anyone know what?
